Fall 2009, Exam #1 Class Performance Report

Sixty-two people (about 14% of the class) scored 90 and above (1 person scored a perfect 25 out of 25).  The exam mean was 75%, and the median was 77%.  These values include a 3 point curve.  The standard deviation was 14%.  Almost 31% scored between 80 and 90, 27% scored between 70 and 80, and 15% scored between 60 and 70.  The rest of the breakdown was about 8% between 50 and 60, and about 5% scored below 50.

The class web site is set up to provide you with your performance report.  Click on Exam Results.  You'll need to provide your login and password.  In the report a green check in the answer column means that your answer is correct, and the points earned.  If the answer is not correct, then the correct response will appear in the answer column, and the points earned will be zero.  You'll see the point total for each question, and your grade.

For those who met their expectations, congratulations.  For those who did not, there's still plenty of points on the table.
