Play The Stock Market Game!

Calling all interested students!  You now have the opportunity to manage an investment portfolio throughout the semester.  The portfolios can include any publicly traded common stock and any option position (calls and puts) that can be tracked easily through a competition managed through the Investopedia website.  Portfolios can be comprised of one stock or option, or many stocks and options - it's up to you.   All portfolios begin with $100,000.

Why would you want to do this? Well, the first thing to note is that there are no course points on the line.  And so this is a total volunteer effort.  Maybe its because you're a beginner and want to teach yourself a bit about how you would handle investing in the market.  Or perhaps you're an experienced investor and want to prove your mettle.

And so join our class competition, take some chances, have fun, and learn about investing.
