Ray's Music

Below are links to various music that I have created.  I hope you enjoy these pieces.  Let me know what you think!

Files in MP3 format:

To hear these files, you need an MP3 player.  Windows Media Player will work fine, or you can download a free player from Musicmatch.com.  These are digital recordings of my synthesizer playing each of these tunes.

Lizzie's Lullaby A lullaby for my daughter.

For Pamela - A Rhapsody A quasi-classical piece written for my spouse.

Catie's Song This is a song I wrote for my other daughter, arranged for flute and piano.

Piano Sonata No. 1 A quasi-classical solo piano piece.

Bella Ella A ragtime/Dixieland piece named after my cat.

My Little Girls  Lyrics and arrangement by me, original melody by Frederic Chopin (Nocturne, Opus 9, No. 2)

Files in Scorch format:

Below are links to files that let you hear the same tunes through your own computer's sound card synthesizer.  The instrument sounds won't be as good, but with these files, you can view the scores and hear the music.  To  play these, you need the Scorch plugin for Internet Explorer (or Netscape).  You can get it at http://www.sibelius.com/products/scorch/.  Once you've got the plugin, just click on the link and you can then see the score, print it, and play it back either through the synthesizer built into your soundcard or through an attached MIDI instrument, if you've got one.  For troubleshooting with the Scorch plugin, see http://www.sibelius.com/perl-bin/faqs/scorch.pl
