HOSPITALITY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT EDUCATORS Established 1983 |
The
Association of Hospitality Financial Management Educators (AHFME) is
a premiere organization that strives to "promote a closer association among
the individuals teaching and/or practicing in the area of financial management
in hospitality and tourism around the world." The association was established
in 1983. It is managed by a select group of officers and directors that
rotates over time and assists in administrative decisions. The current

Membership
in
the Association is available through written application only. AHFME members
have the opportunity to get involved with an elite international network
of finance and accounting educators/ professionals in the hospitality/tourism
industry, and also to learn about latest trends in hospitality finance
via presentations and discussions at the Annual AHFME Symposium. Membership
in AHFME includes subscription to
The
Journal of Hospitality Financial Management, and The Hospitality Financial
Management Review.
